Before transitioning from a career in performance to a career on television, Jacy began her journey as a songwriter and award-winning artist. She has performed at some of the most prestigious venues around the country, including Madison Square Garden, The Bluebird Cafe, The Texas Troubadour Theatre, and more than 30 of her songs have been recorded by artists worldwide. Jacy is proud to have shared the stage and opened for artists such as LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Wynonna, Willie Nelson, Vince Gill, Amy Grant, Martina McBride, Darius Rucker, and Tanya Tucker to name a few. Jacy performed the National Anthem for President Bill Clinton when she was only 16 years old.
